ALEXANDRIA, VA — As Visit Alexandria works to support city services with visitor-related revenue, it is hoping to make Condé Nast Traveler's best small cities list for the seventh year in a row.

Alexandria was nominated in the cities category for the Condé Nast Traveler 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards. The city has been in the top five of Best Small Cities in the U.S. for six consecutive years since the category was introduced in 2018. In 2023, Alexandria was ranked the third best small city in the U.S.

Readers can complete Condé Nast Traveler's survey by rating various cities, countries, hotels and more nominees in various categories. Alexandria will do well in the ranking when readers rate it as "excellent" in a few categories and answer a few additional questions.
