Alexandria Nominated For Travel + Leisure's World's Best List
The magazine included Alexandria in its reader survey for the 2020 World's Best Awards.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria has a chance of making Travel + Leisure magazine's World's Best Awards for 2020. It has been nominated in the cities category, while Old Town's Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa is nominated in the hotels category.
The awards cover travel-related categories such as airlines, airports, hotels, tour operators and cities as decided on by readers. Last year's Best Cities in the U.S. winners included mostly major cities, although there were a few small cities like Williamsburg, Virginia and Taos, New Mexico.
Travel + Leisure's survey will be open until midnight on March 2, 2020. Readers can only enter once per email address. Each vote gets you a chance to win one of five international travel prizes.
