Alexandria Old Town Springtime Art Festival Returns For Second Year
For the second year, spring dates have been added for the popular art festival in Alexandria.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Art lovers can peruse an outdoor art gallery this upcoming weekend at the Alexandria Old Town Springtime Art Festival. The event will be held at 300 John Carlyle Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This is the second year spring dates were added to the popular art festival by Howard Alan Events. The fall art festival will mark its 20th anniversary this year. The festival, formerly named the King Street Art Festival, had been moved from lower King Street to the Carlyle neighborhood in 2020.
The weekend-long art festival will feature displays of art for purchase at John Carlyle Square. Art is selected by a jury process, "which provides a higher level of quality, diversity and creativity of art on display," according to the event website.
