Alexandria Pedestrian, Bicycle Meeting Wednesday
Advisory Committee is to provide guidance to City staff on update to Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan; public is invited.

The Ad Hoc Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan Advisory Committee will hold its fourth meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. This meeting will be held at Alexandria City Hall, Sister Cities Room 1101, 301 King St. This meeting will focus on the pedestrian and bicycle vision, goals and objectives, and pedestrian focus areas.

- 7:05 p.m. Review Ad Hoc Committee Role / Project Process / Schedule
- 7:15 p.m. Pedestrian Vision, Goals and Objectives
- 7:45 p.m. Bicycle Vision, Goals and Objectives
- 8:15 p.m. Pedestrian Focus Areas
- 8:30 p.m. General Discussion (Public Comments)
- 8:45 p.m. Committee Member Updates
- 8:55 p.m. Wrap Up and Next Steps
The update of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan will include an evaluation of existing conditions, issues, constraints and needs, as well as a review of existing policies, goals and objectives.

Pedestrian and bicycle projects will be identified, along with future bikeshare station locations, and strategies to implement the plan. The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide guidance to City staff on the update to the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and the development of Complete Streets Design Guidelines.
