Alexandria Restaurant Week: 57 Eateries Confirmed

The dates are set for Alexandria's restaurant week. Are you ready for special deals at 57 local restaurants?

ALEXANDRIA, VA—It's almost that time of year that Alexandria foodies look forward to all summer. Alexandria Summer Restaurant Week has been set for August 18-27, and 57 restaurants from around the city are participating.

For 10 days, restaurants will be serving up special menus. Over 50 restaurants will offer a $35 three-course dinner or dinner for two, and over 20 will have lunch specials for $10, $15 and $20 in addition.

Started by Visit Alexandria in 2009, Alexandria Summer Restaurant Week celebrates the diversity of local restaurants. Restaurants represent all areas of the city, from waterfront Old Town eateries, to 'Main Street' Del Ray favorites, to West End gems.

New participants include fresh faces on the restaurant scene: Hummingbird, Meggrolls, Myron Mixon’s Pitmaster Barbeque and Junction Bakery & Bistro. Other returning favorites are Bastille, Sonoma Cellar, Blackwall Hitch, Cheesetique, BRABO, Restaurant Eve, Vermilion and Magnolia's on King. See a full list of participating restaurants here.
