Alexandria Teen Killed In Northeast DC Shooting: Police
A reward up to $25,000 is being offered for information on the fatal shooting of an Alexandria 17-year-old.

WASHINGTON, DC — An Alexandria teen died in a Northeast DC shooting Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting happened around 5:26 p.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Hayes Street Northeast. Officers responded to a report of gunshots and found the juvenile victim in a vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS could not find signs of life in the victim.
The victim was identified as Damari Deon Wright, 17, of Alexandria. His body was taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy.

There have not been any arrests or suspects identified in the homicide. Metropolitan Police are offering a reward up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information can call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
