Alexandria Victim Identified In DC Homicide: Police
An Alexandria man found with gunshot injuries inside a vehicle is the victim of a homicide in northeast DC.

WASHINGTON, DC — An Alexandria victim man was found dead in a homicide Monday in northeast Washington, DC, according to Metropolitan Police.
Around 12:08 a.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of an unconscious person in the 400 block of 11th Street NE. Police found a man with shooting injuries in a vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Nasrat Ahmad Yar, 31, of Alexandria.

Police have not identified a suspect in the homicide. A reward up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction for homicides in DC.
