ALX Community Co-Working Space Opens Second Location

The new co-working space provides desks and offices on the Alexandria waterfront.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — ALX Community, a co-working space, opened its second location on Thursday, Oct. 24 in Old Town Alexandria. It is located on the waterfront at 201 North Union Street.

The 25,000-square-foot space features private offices, dedicated desks, flex seating and private offices in a separate wing. A 5,000-square conference center for meetings is also planned. Clients can choose from day passes to dedicated desks, private offices and conference room remembers. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

ALX Community first opened at Founders Hall at 106 North Lee Street in April 2018. The space features shared and private offices, communal space, a South Block juice bar, pop-up retail and more. It's been utilized by professionals ranging from entrepreneurs to freelancers, financial professionals, and non-profit professionals.

Aside from providing co-working space, ALX Community hosts private and public events, including educational seminars about business development, professional growth, health and wellness and community awareness.
