ALEXANDRIA, VA – A pedestrian was stuck in the 2200-2300 block of King Street in Alexandria early in the morning of April 23. Alexandria police said the area was closed around 2:30 a.m.
According to the Alexandria Police Department, the driver did not stay on the scene. Police have not yet released details on the condition of the victim or the vehicle involved.
A 62-year-old woman was struck and killed less than two miles away on April 20. The driver in that case is cooperating with the investigation.
This is the third pedestrian struck by a car in the city in April.
