ALEXANDRIA, VA – Handsome Brutus is looking for a domus!
This young boy, just over a year and a half old, is 54 pounds of love and kisses. The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria says Brutus “is a smart dog who already knows the cues for sit, paw and down. Since he is so treat-motivated, there is no end to what he can learn!”
Brutus is an active boy. He loves walks, hikes and fetch, though the AWLA warns you might not always get your ball back. Brutus is selective with other dogs, so he should be the only one in a home. But he loves people, and as long as he’s with his person, he’s happy, the shelter says.
“If you pick Brutus, he is guaranteed to give you unconditional love and endless doggie kisses” they say.
If you think that Brutus could be the one for you, contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria today.
To see him or any of the other dogs, cats and other furry friends waiting for their homes, contact the AWLA shelter or visit them at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue during adoption hours, from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
