Sisters Kimberly and Alyssa Theodore opened The Sugar Cube in 2006 to celebrate one of life’s little pleasures--candy. The gourmet confectionery carries sweets of all kinds to cater to any age and any craving. From elaborate truffles and salted caramel made on-site to nostalgic candy favorites from childhood, they offer it all.
“We’re excited that the new space enables us to expand our selection of unique confections and share the fun of sweets with others through our new party room,” said owners, Kimberly and Alyssa. “This allows us to schedule more events, accommodate larger parties, and offer more perks for really stylish celebrations.”
Previously located on Lee Street in Old Town, The Sugar Cube chose to move to a new space that accommodates more classes. The chocolate making birthday parties are the most popular and the old location couldn’t keep up with demand. Over the next several months, The Sugar Cube plans to use the space to roll out more classes, events and promotions including:
- A family Easter Egg Hunt during the week of April 1 - 7
- A chocolate tasting every Saturday from 1 - 4 pm
- The launch of the Candy for Good Grades program
- Five new chocolate and candy-making classes
- Frequent contests and give-a-ways
The Sugar Cube is open Tues. – Fri. from 11 am to 7pm, Sat. and Sun. from 11 am to 6 pm and closed on Mondays.
