May 31st - September 7th - Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and Del Ray Artisans Present: Under a Summer Sun Art Exhibit

The Under a Summer Sun art exhibit at the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter in Alexandria, is a part of Del Ray Artisans’ Gallery Without Walls program, in partnership with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

This is the fourth exhibit at the animal shelter and Del Ray Artisans member artists are showing two-dimensional works of art celebrating the animals that enrich and inspire them. Artworks include a variety of styles and media inspired by these animals.

As a fundraising effort, a percentage of each sale goes directly to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and Del Ray Artisans - both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Please join us June 19th at the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, 4101 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, for our exhibit reception. We will have refreshments and the feature, “Three Minutes with Three Artists”, in which artists will discuss the inspiration and technique behind their work.
