Army Navy Country Club's Jr PGA Mid Atlantic Section Golf Team Wins 2nd Place

Local golf team highly competitive in tournament against golf school students team

Congratulations to the Army Navy Country Club's Jr PGA Mid Atlantic Section golf team!

On Sunday, October 30, 2016, the ANCC team won 2nd place in the Fall PGA Junior League Finals. William Andrews (front row with sunglasses), an eleven year old Old Town Alexandria resident and student at St Stephens and St Agnes school in Alexandria, helped to boost the team to its 2nd place finish with clutch chipping.

The Cahoon Country club, and its players from the Michelle Holmes School of Golf, finished first.
