Update: Two Unkown Suspects Wanted in Alexandria Shooting
UPDATE: Police said two black males ran from the scene of a shooting in Old Town Alexandria Wednesday.

(Updated at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday) ALEXANDRIA, VA — Police are looking for two unknown black suspects seen running from the scene of a shooting in Old Town Alexandria Wednesday. At about 2:26 p.m., a 22-year-old Alexandria man was shot at the 600 block of South Alfred Street Wednesday. The victim had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
There is no further suspect information. Police ask anyone with information to contact Detective Loren King at 703-746-6689.
At 2:39 p.m., police activity in the area caused nearby Lyles-Crouch Elementary School to go on a temporary lockdown. Classes ran on a normal schedule, but no could enter or exit the building. The school followed regular dismissal, although walkers stayed in the building for an additional few minutes.
