No Credible Threat Found At NOVA Community College Where Jill Biden Teaches

ALEXANDRIA, VA — No credible threat was found after a bomb threat was reported Tuesday at Northern Virginia Community College's Alexandria campus, where first lady Jill Biden teaches.

NOVA worked with local police, state and federal agencies on the investigation, finding no threat. The Alexandria campus was evacuated after a bomb threat was made, the community college reported.

NOVA reported all campuses were closed Tuesday with in-person classes canceled and virtual classes continuing. On Wednesday, all campuses will reopen.

According to Newsweek, the first lady was notified about the bomb threat before departing the White House. Biden teaches college composition at the Alexandria campus, first starting in 2009 when her husband became vice president and resuming in 2021 after he became president.
