True Survivors, a new non-profit organization based in Alexandria, is sponsoring its first benefit to raise money for breast cancer research and treatment. True Survivors http://www.truesurvivors.org is intended to be a web based arena of stories by and about survivors of all kinds. Survivors of disease, injury, disability, etc can often have interesting even inspiring stories.
