Bridal Boutique to Close Its Doors After 30 Years
Hannelore's of Olde Town is located at 106 N. Lee St. in Old Town Alexandria and has announced it will be closing.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Hannelore’s Bridal Boutique, long an institution in Old Town Alexandria at 106 N. Lee St. (see map below) will be closing its doors at the end of February, store employees said Tuesday afternoon.

A message on the store Web site notes: “After 30-plus years in the bridal industry, Hannelore has decided to retire...”
Bridal gowns are 50 to 75 percent off and bridesmaids’ dresses are $50, an employee said Tuesday.

Store hours are:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.
The news of the bridal boutique’s closing comes on the heels of an announcement by The Why Not Shop that it is also closing; both have been a part of the Old Town Alexandria community for many years.
