Join the Alexandria Film Festival as we honor American ideals with the Virginia premiere of "Space Cowboy."

You may not recognize the name Joe Jennings, but you likely know his work that ranges from Super Bowl ads to Baywatch stunt scenes. Jennings, the subject of the feature documentary “Space Cowboy,” has been achieving aerial feats of skydiving cinematography since the 1980s. Now in his 60’s, Jennings looks back at his life and career while planning his latest gravity-defying stunt. Through interviews and archival footage, he confronts the challenges of a high-risk occupation marked by adrenaline highs and emotional lows. This cinematic portrait of a man and his atmospheric adventures was made for the big screen. Buy your tickets ($15) online or at the door. (Doors open at 6 pm for 6:30 pm screening.)
