Celebrate Fall with Live Music Series, Furry Friends, Vintage and Holiday Markets in Old Town North Alexandria 

Alexandria,VA - October, 2026 - Events celebrating the arts, all things dog and cat, and the upcoming holiday season are all happening this fall in Old Town North’s Montgomery Park area. 

The first Fall Music at the Market Series on October 18 features local band Two of a Kind, 11 am - Noon. Concertgoers can also visit the Vintage Flea and Artisans Market and weekly Farmers Market, both in the Montgomery Park area from 9 am - 1 pm. Rain date for the concert is October 25.

The music series continues with concerts on November 1, featuring Cole Holland, 11 am - Noon (rain date November 8), and December 6 with the return of Two of a Kind, 11 am - Noon (rain date December 13). The annual Holiday Market on Dec. 6 will offer the opportunity for holiday shopping, along with live music in the park!

Furry friends are also part of the fall celebration in Old Town North! Dogtoberfest will roll into November to support the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria’s rescheduled Paws in the Park fundraiser on Nov. 1. Through October 26, dog and cat owners are invited to show off their fur babies in costume, stop by the market on Oct. 18 or 25 for live, candid photos or upload their own to www.oldtownnorth.org, and from October 26-30 viewers will vote for their favorites. Winners will be announced November 1.
