Lotus Blooms is an education focused adult boutique in Old Town Alexandria offering education and resources for every phase of life. From new relationships to new parenthood, menopause, chronic illness, coming-out, and everything in-between and beyond. We offer educational workshops for adults for many phases of life. Think- the adult version of Family Life Education, but with a little more fun, and a lot less shame & STI discussion!
This is an educational workshop geared towards trans women, transfeminine people, and their partners. This class welcomes you at any stage and path of transition. The workshop will be an affirming deep dove into exploring pleasure in the most affirming ways.
The content of the class will: - cover anatomy at various stages and types of transition - normalize common concerns that come up during intimate play - explore practical tips - show off toys, tools, and aids
What to expect from this workshop: This is an educational and experiential class, but it is not a sexual class. The focus of the content will be on learning about how to use products in affirming ways for anatomy you're working with. Conversations will focus on framing pleasure, techniques, props, and toys in enjoyable and affirming ways. Participants will be able to opt in and out of any exercises or offerings.
The Fine Print: Lotus Blooms’ workshops are open to people of all genders and sexual orientations, individuals, couples, or groups. Due to state law, attendees must be over 18 to come to the workshops or shop in the store. This workshop will be held at Lotus Blooms. Workshops generally run about 60 minutes plus time for Q&A.
