The shop describes its bagel as a blend of New York-style and Montreal-style bagels. The owners drew inspiration for their menu from their life experiences — Dana from growing up Jewish and Moreira from working at restaurants and growing up in Argentina. Most ingredients are made in-house, except for certain products sourced from local producers.

Call Your Mother Deli has locations in DC's Park View, Barracks Row, Georgetown, West End, Logan Circle, Connecticut Avenue and the Dupont Farmers Market as well as Bethesda, North Bethesda's Pike and Rose, Silver Spring Farmers Market, McLean and three in Denver. A location in Vienna has also been leased to Call Your Mother Deli, but an opening date has not yet been announced.
