Car Smashes Into Inova Hospital In Alexandria
There was no immediate word on what caused the vehicle to crash into the building.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—A car crashed into the Inova Alexandria Hospital Saturday, according to the IAFF Local 2141, the union representing Alexandria firefighters.
Multiple fire department units responded to the car crash into a load bearing wall, according to a 4:11 p.m. tweet. The driver was evaluated by medics on scene. No other injuries were identified.
A technical rescue team was on scene to assess structural damage and shore the building to ensure the structure remained safe.

There is no preliminary information on the cause of the crash.
Numerous AFD units are operating at the @InovaAlexandria with a vehicle that has drove into the building. Our technical rescue team is on scene assessing the structural damage.
