Chewish Deli Opens King Street Location, Second In Alexandria
Chewish Deli, which started as a pop-up and food truck, now has its second brick-and-mortar location serving Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Fans of bagels from Chewish Deli can now get their fix at a second location in Alexandria. The business confirmed its second location is open at 1640 King Street.
The location was formerly a Dunkin' location that closed. The new tenant, Chewish Deli, specializes in hand-rolled, New York-style bagels along with sandwiches and coffee.
Chewish Deli was started in 2018 by Gregg Linzey, who sought to bring New York-style bagels to Old Town Alexandria. After experimenting with pop-ups, Chewish Deli launched its food truck in March 2020, followed by a brick-and-mortar location later that year at 807 Pendleton Street in Alexandria. According to Chewish Deli's website, the Pendleton Street location sells around 5,000 bagels each week.
