Chewish Deli Seeks To Open King Street Location
A former Dunkin' location could become a new Chewish Deli storefront.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Chewish Deli, a bagel shop that started as a pop-up before opening a storefront, is looking to add a location on King Street in Alexandria.
The bagel shop filed an application with the city for a change in ownership at 1640 King Street, the location of a now-closed Dunkin. The location would sell bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and some retail merchandise like T-shirts and mugs.
Chewish Deli isn't proposing any renovations to the space but will bring in its own equipment. The restaurant has 18 indoor seats, and no changes are proposed.
