Comcast Opens Xfinity Store In Alexandria
The Comcast store held its grand opening and made a donation to an Alexandria Boys and Girls Club.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Xfinity has been a provider in Alexandria for a while, but now it has a storefront to showcase its services. The new Xfinity by Comcast store at 2371 Eisenhower Avenue held its grand opening Thursday, Oct. 20.
Mayor Allison Silberberg and Alexandria Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Joe Haggerty attended the ribbon cutting for the interactive store.
The 5,000 square foot store gives customers a place to learn about Comcast’s products and services, including the new Xfinity Mobile. Additionally, customers will receive personalized service from trained sales consultants, and more time-saving offerings, including a new queuing system that allows customers to explore and stay entertained while waiting for service.

During the opening, Comcast donated $1,000 to the Dunbar Alexandria-Olympic Boys & Girls Club, which provides after school programs in the Alexandria area.
The store is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
