Construction Worker Dies From Fall Off Roof In Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A construction worker died from a fall from a roof in Alexandria Tuesday, according to the police department.

The incident happened around 3:05 p.m. at Mill Road and Dock Lane in the Carlyle area. Alexandria Police say the construction worker fell off the roof several stories while working. The victim was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have not yet released the victim's identity due to next-of-kin notification.
