Couple Opens RockDeep, RDevine Store Near Alexandria Waterfront
The business is a part athletic footwear, part wedding apparel and dress shoes store.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Rocky and Desiree Parrish aren't just a married couple. They're business partners each with their own brands: RockDeep and RDevine. On Saturday, May 4, they opened their second RockDeep/RDevine store at 101 North Union Street next to the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria.
RockDeep sells athletic footwear covering all kinds of activities from trail running to casual walking, while RDevine specializes in wedding apparel and dress shoes. RDevine's shoes are displayed at the store, while wedding items can be found online at www.rdevine.com. Customers can also set appointments, says Desiree Parrish.
All products are their own original brands. At least among the shoe offerings, nothing is priced over $100. Rocky Parrish told Patch the store can offer an alternative to chain stores for show deals.

"Why spend more when you don't have to have to?" he said. "You can touch and feel our shoes and know [the quality] right off the bat."
According to Parrish, their headquarters is upstairs, so they jumped on the opportunity when the space became available. The space was previously an art gallery.
