Good morning, Northern Virginia. Here's everything you need to know for your Tuesday morning commute.

On the Roads

As of 7:56 a.m., a crash was reported on northbound I-395 before Seminary Road in Alexandria. Drivers should be alert to debris on the left side by the crash. One northbound lane is closed.

As of 7:41 a.m., a crash is impacting both directions of Beach Drive near Calvert Street NW and Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, DC. Drivers can proceed with caution.

As of 7:32 a.m., a disabled vehicle is impacting southbound I-495 after the American Legion Bridge in Fairfax County. The southbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:20 a.m., a crash is affecting both directions of Michigan Avenue NE between South Dakota Avenue NE and Taylor Street NE. Drivers can proceed with caution past the crash.

As of 7:17 a.m., delays are possible due to a disabled vehicle on northbound I-495 near Braddock Road in Fairfax County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:16 a.m., a crash is impacting northbound I-95 near Prince William Parkway. The northbound left shoulder is closed.

As of 7:42 a.m., a disabled vehicle has been cleared on southbound George Washington Parkway between the scenic overlooks and Spout Run Parkway in Arlington County. Both lanes are open.

Road work has closed westbound lanes on Duke Street over I-395 in Alexandria.

As of 6:51 a.m., police activity is affecting both directions of Massachusetts Avenue NW in Washington, DC. Drivers should follow police direction.

As of 6:19 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound Godwin Drive near Wellington Road in Manassas. Drivers can continue with caution.

On the Metro

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Weather

Any chance of isolated showers will clear by 8 a.m. The day will be sunny with a high near 82. At night, partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
