Crime This Week in Alexandria Includes Robbery at Gunpoint

Motor vehicle thefts, a residential burglary, robbery, thefts among crimes reported on RAIDS Online.

The following are some of the most recent crimes that have taken place in Alexandria. The information is from RAIDS Online, an online crime reporting Web site used by the Alexandria Police Department to keep residents informed about neighborhood crime.

As of Thursday morning, the online reporting tool only included crimes up to Monday night. No information was available for crimes reported from Tuesday or Wednesday. There is no information provided about arrests, suspect descriptions or items stolen.

Robbery, Commercial

  • Sunday, July 26, 4:53 p.m.: 1000 block of W. Glebe Road: Clerk was robbed at gunpoint at store.

Theft

  • Monday, July 27, 12:27 p.m., 1400 block of Oronoco Street
  • Monday, July 27, 12:50 p.m., 700 block of N. Armistead Street
