Daughters of the British Empire
We are an active group of multi-aged women from our twenties to our seventies. We get together monthly to socialize and raise money for local charities. Our common bond is British or Commonwealth of Nations heritage. We also have a lot of fun. Our next meeting will be on January 27th in Old Town and we would love to have you join us. Message us at dbeinva@gmail.com if you are interested in finding out more.
The Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) in the U.S.A. was founded in the United States on March 15, 1909, as the Imperial Order, Daughters of the Empire in the U.S.A., and became the National Society, Daughters of the British Empire in the U.S.A. in 1920. Members like us, joining together in fellowship, contribute significantly to the good of our local communities and support four retirement homes for men and women established by the DBE.

The DBE is a charitable, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian, voluntary American society of women of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry. Our members are professionals, businesswomen and homemakers with common interests and heritage, who meet regularly for business and social events with the common cause of philanthropy.
