DC, NoVA Weekend Events: Wreaths Across America, Train Rides

If you want to take a break from baking cookies or buying gifts, there are plentiful holiday events around Northern Virginia and DC. Between various concerts, volunteer work, ugly sweater parties and fireworks, there's something for you and your family to do.

We've rounded up numerous events going on in your communities from Friday, Dec. 14 to Sunday, Dec. 16. Some are free. Some have a fee.
