DC, NoVA Weekend Events: Ice Maze, Capital Art and Craft Festival

WASHINGTON, DC — As the countdowns to Christmas and Kwaanza continue, there are plenty of holiday events to enjoy in Northern Virginia and DC this weekend.

We've rounded up local events happening Friday, Dec. 10 through Sunday, Dec. 12. This weekend includes big division games for the Washington Football Team and Washington Capitals as well as various holiday parades and markets. A few of the major events are the Ice Maze at CityCenter DC, Winter Capital Art and Craft Festival, Christmas in Purcellville Parade and Nokesville Christmas Parade.

Visitors should be aware of mask guidelines at individual locations. Masks are recommended but not required in any indoor public places in Virginia, but some local government facilities and businesses may choose to require masks. DC's indoor mask mandate was lifted on Monday, Nov. 22, but businesses may choose to require masks.
