DC, NoVA Weekend: Hungry Human Hippos On Ice, Chocolate Festival

As the government shutdown stretches beyond one month, Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo remain closed. Even so, there's still plenty to do on the upcoming weekend around Northern Virginia and DC.

We've rounded up numerous events going on in DC and Northern Virginia from Friday, Jan. 25 to Sunday, Jan. 27.
