This weekend's event lineup includes the opening of Ice & Lights, various craft fairs, holiday light displays, tree lightings and more.

WASHINGTON, DC — As the holiday season approaches, there are already numerous festive happenings around Northern Virginia and DC.
The DC Downtown Holiday Market opens this weekend for shopping all season long. Various tree lightings are planned, including in Tysons, Alexandria, Leesburg and Occoquan, as well as craft fairs and Santa photos. Plus, check out ongoing holiday light displays at Ice & Lights in Alexandria, Bull Run Festival of Lights in Centreville and Meadowlark Winter Walk on Lights in Vienna.
