Escort Robbed by Suspect at Alexandria Hotel: Police

An escort who agreed to meet with a man Wednesday night at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria called police after she was allegedly robbed by him, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Police arrived in time to arrest the suspect, Traevon Lamar Thompson, 28, of Baltimore, who was charged with robbery; the woman was charged with prostitution and released on a summons to appear in court, according to police.

The hotel is located at 5000 Seminary Road. Police were called at about 8:35 p.m.
