Age 8-14. No prerequisites.
Sportrock’s five-day curriculum introduces children to rock climbing, both indoors and out. Kids will learn knot craft, belaying technique and basic climbing technique. Our indoor gym allows us to better control the climate and the terrain thereby enhancing the learning atmosphere and ensuring that each child receives all the attention, guidance and instruction they need and deserve. Once they have learned those skills, they will travel outside to Great Falls, VA. The outdoor class is a day of fun and adventure as our instructors guide the kids on and around real rock, learning to climb on it, and how it got there and how to preserve it for future generations.
