Wines of Australia Wine Tasting

Outgoing and unpretentious--those words could as easily describe an Australian citizen, as they do Australian wines. Indeed, the wines of Australia seem a perfect portrait of their people and culture: bold, sunny, fruit forward, spicy, wild like the land, rooted in tradition and yet willing to take creative risks and used technological innovations.

Join us as we learn about their love affair with Shiraz, their fun and creative approaches to sparkling and dessert wines, and their innovative whites.

We'll introduce you to one of their oldest and most well known wineries (d'Arenberg)--which still presses their grapes by hand, as well as several smaller + newer producers putting out the goods. We know you'll fall in love with the supple, approachable, fruit-saturated and fascinating wines of Australia. Taste some great values- easy weeknight wines and some special occasion wines too- we'll be featuring 8 different ones for you to try.
