Wright to Read Volunteer Orientation

Wright to Read offers two on-going volunteer opportunities, the After School Reading Program and the Tutor/Mentor Program.  Each of our programs takes place one-on-one with an elementary school student.  Volunteers work with the students to help improve their literacy by reading books and working on different comprehension activities.  Each program requires volunteers to attend an Orientation and a separate Training.  The Tutor/Mentor program additionally requires a criminal background screening.
