Fall 2023 Events In Alexandria: Halloween Stampede, Art on the Avenue
From Art of the Avenue to Taste of Old Town North here are the fall events you can't miss in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — It may not seem like it during a heat wave, but fall is coming and will bring a variety of fun events to Alexandria.
The fall season officially begins on Saturday, Sept. 23, but there will be plenty of fall happenings from September to November. This year, expect favorites like Art on the Avenue, Historic Alexandria Homes Tour, Taste of Old Town North and Del Ray Halloween Parade. You can also check out new events like Tall Ship Providence's Ghost Ship Providence and Halloween Howl and Alexandria Oktoberfest.
Don't forget free events like trick-or-treat. While the official trick-or-treat usually happens the evening of Oct. 31, there will also be an Old Town Family Trick or Treat and Old Town Doggie Trick or Treat.
