House Fire Out In Alexandria; No Injuries Reported
Firefighters from three departments battled a house fire in Alexandria Thursday morning.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—Firefighters from the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County and Arlington are responding to a fire in the West End Thursday morning.
Firefighters were on scene around 10 a.m. in the 5600 block of Filmore Avenue. It was unclear if anyone was home at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
Dispatch reports indicated smoke was showing from the one story home. The IAFF Local 2141 reports the fire has been put out, and firefighters are searching and ventilating the home.
