Food And Drink Festivals, Fairfax Comic Con: DC, NoVA Weekend Events

WASHINGTON, DC — Even as many kids are back in school in the Northern Virginia and DC region, the weekends are a perfect time to soak up the remaining summer fun.

During the last weekend of August, Alexandria Restaurant Week continues through Sunday, and the Around The World Cultural Food Festival also comes to Alexandria.

It will be a notable weekend for foodies with events like Whiskey, Wine & Fire Festival, Drink. Eat. Relax. Wine & Food Festival and FXBG Grub Fest. For special events involving alcoholic drinks, head to DC Margarita March and The Caribbean Crawl End of Summer Bash.
