Free Old Town Pub Crawl Held Ahead Of Alexandria Fireworks
At least eight Old Town restaurants are participating in a free pub crawl ahead of the fireworks show.

If you're seeking some adult fun ahead of Alexandria's birthday celebration, look no further than the fifth annual Old Town Pub Crawl on Saturday, July 7.
Hosted by Port City Brewing Company, the pub crawl features eight Old Town Alexandria restaurants and is completely free. Patrons will go to all eight restaurants to get stamps on their pub crawl passes. Completed passes can be turned in for a limited edition pint glass from Port City Brewing Company.

- Pizzeria Paradiso, 124 King Street
- Fish Market, 105 King Street
- Virtue Feed & Grain: 106 S Union Street
- Union Street Public House: 121 S Union Street
- Bugsy’s Pizza: 111 King Street
- Daniel O'Connell's Irish Restaurant & Bar: 112 King Street
- Vola’s/Hi-Tide Lounge: 101 N Union Street
- Chadwick’s: 203 Strand Street
From 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m., patrons can go to any of the eight restaurants to get their pub crawl passes. Then until 6 p.m., look for the Port City Brewing Company team to receive a stamp at each location. Restaurants will have Port City brews and food specials, but no purchase is required to get the stamps.
When the pass is completed, stop by the Port City tent at the corner of King and Union Streets from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. to get the pub crawl pint glass. Murphy's Grand Irish Pub (713 King Street) will hold an after party.

The event ends just in time for Alexandria's 269th birthday celebration at Oronoco Bay Park from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
