Garbage Truck Overturns In Alexandria: Police
The garbage truck driver was taken to the hospital but is expected to be ok.

Police are on the scene of an overturned garbage truck in Alexandria Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened in the 4600 block of Eisenhower Avenue. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles appeared to be involved.
One westbound lane is closed as the scene at the intersection is cleared, according to a police tweet posted shortly after noon. Police say drivers should avoid the area.
