All after-school activities have been canceled Wednesday at an Alexandria public school after inspection of a gas smell, according to the City of Alexandria.
All after-school activities at George Mason Elementary School, including the Campagna after-school care program, are canceled Wednesday afternoon due to Fire Department inspections following a smell of gas earlier Wednesday, the City noted.
The school closed last fall on Oct. 31 due to “sewage complications.”
