Glory Days Grill Aims For Late Summer Opening In Alexandria
The upcoming Alexandria location will be the 15th Glory Days Grill in Virginia.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Glory Days Grill, a sports bar chain in five southeastern states, is expected to open in Alexandria in mid to late August. The location will be at Alexandria Commons, 3141 Duke Street.
The restaurant will offer a large menu from burgers, wings and pizza to soups, salads and desserts. Services include large screen televisions, a full bar, to-go orders, catering and banquet/party facilities.
"I know the local community will enjoy our sports themed and family-friendly restaurant. Our neighbors will also benefit from Glory Days' commitment and deep ties to local schools," said president and co-founder Jeff Newman in a press release announcing the location last spring. "Some of the main reasons we chose Alexandria Commons Shopping Center are the abundance of free parking, the opportunity to include a 600 square foot banquet room, the designation of ‘15 minute only’ parking to accommodate carry out/to go customers, and a large covered patio that will extend the entire front of the restaurant."
