The Goodhart Group Gives Back at the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend

As part of her commitment to giving back to the community, Allison Goodhart, a member of The Goodhart Group at McEnearney Associates, will be co-chairing the Heather and Greens sale at the 44th Annual Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend and Parade.

The event takes place on Friday, Dec 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 in Old Town Alexandria. The weekend is hosted by The Campagna Center, whose mission it is to deliver educational and social development programs for children, teens and adults.

Throughout the weekend, visitors are invited to tour historic Old Town, wander through the marketplace full of greenery and unique gifts, purchase greenery for your Christmas decorations, enjoy the tastes of fine Scotch, and last, but certainly not least, take in the sights and sounds of the unique Scottish Christmas Walk Parade.

“The Heather and Greens sale is one of the highlights of the weekend. We’ll be selling fresh heather bundles and a variety of wreaths, garlands and much more,” says Goodhart. “I’m honored that I can play a small part in helping to benefit both the children and adults who are part of The Campagna Center.”

Also as part of the weekend, The Goodhart Group will be sponsoring a Scotch tasting at The George Washington Masonic Memorial Temple. Attended by 350 guests annually, the Scotch menu includes a variety of Scotches direct from Scotland distilleries, Scottish ale sampling, as well as beer, wine, and food.
