Gunshots Incident Causes Building Damage In Old Town West

Police are actively investigating after shell casings and property damage was found on North Henry Street.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police say a gunshots incident in Old Town West damaged a business and apartment building Wednesday.

The incident happened around 6:35 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of N. Henry Street near the Madison Street intersection. Police located shell casings and found the property damage. There were no initial reports of injuries.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident. There was no suspect information available.
