Hank's Pasta Bar Grand Opening: Get Ready, Here Are the Details

A grand opening is planned for Wednesday and a ribbon-cutting for the following day.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Pasta lovers, prepare your taste buds: Hank’s Pasta Bar opens its doors next Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. for its first dinner service, a spokeswoman for the restaurant said Thursday.

The restaurant will feature rustic Italian fare, including homemade pasta, at its 600 Montgomery St. location in Alexandria (see map below); the new eatery will be celebrated by the City of Alexandria with a ribbon cutting the following day at noon.

  • Monday-Thursday: 4-11 p.m.
  • Fridays: 4 p.m.-1 a.m.
  • Saturdays: 11:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.
  • Sundays: 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The restaurant will start serving brunch on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The new restaurant is another feather in the cap of Hank’s Oyster Bar chef and owner Jamie Leeds.

Hank’s Oyster Bar, named for Leeds’ father, serves up New England beach fare classics and has three locations, one on King Street in Alexandria and two in DC. Leeds opened the first Hank’s Oyster Bar in 2005 and it has gone on to win numerous culinary awards and earned acclaim from Gourmet, Bon Appétit and Food & Wine.
