Heroin Trafficking Operation Busted In Alexandria
Police believe two men were involved in trafficking heroin from New York City to Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—A two-year investigation has resulted in the arrest of two men for in a heroin trafficking operation in Alexandria.
The men face charges in multiple Northern Virginia jurisdictions relating to a drug trafficking network between New York City and the Alexandria. During the investigation, authorities have seized 400 grams of heroin, 78 grams of cocaine, a firearm, $32,109 in cash, and two luxury vehicles.
Samuel Lebron, 38, and Jeffrey Montilla, 37, both of New York City, were charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin, conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, and two counts of conspiracy to import an ounce or more of a schedule I/II controlled substance into Virginia.

They have been extradited to the Alexandria Adult Detention Center and are being held without bond pending a trial. The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney in Alexandria and the Virginia Office of the Attorney General will prosecute the case.
The two-year investigation was a coordinated effort between the Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and the Virginia Office of the Attorney General. The Fairfax County Police Department and Drug Enforcement Agency assisted in the investigation.

Michael Kochis, commander of the Alexandria Vice/Narcotics Unit in a statement. “The collaboration between our partners from the Fairfax County Police Department, Alexandria Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, the Virginia Office of the Attorney General and the Drug Enforcement Administration is impressive.”
