Historic Alexandria Home Named Hottest Property For Travel Bookings
A property in Old Town Alexandria won an award for being a standout property for travel bookings.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The hottest property for home-sharing isn't something that's newly built with state-of-the-art, modern amenities, according to one travel booking software site. In fact, the hottest property can be found in a community that predates the founding of the United States: Old Town Alexandria.
Eviivo, which provides software for travel accommodations, named Liberty House as the winner of its Hottest Property Award in the International Host of the Week 2022 awards. Liberty House is a historic townhouse at North Alfred and Queen Streets that can be found on booking sites such as Airbnb.
According to eviivo's website, properties that win the award "simply have that 'wow' factor." Applicants must demonstrate their property's standout appeal through design, aesthetics, architecture or amenities. Judges also look at the property's originality, its visual appeal, its innovation, its details, and whether it exceeds "comfort and cool factors."
